Empire Travel Inc. COVID 19 Travel Advisory:
COVID-19 TEST MAY BE REQUIRED TO ENTER YOUR DESTINATION. Failure to have the proper COVID-19 documentation may affect entry into your destination. It is the traveler’s responsibility to have all the necessary documents, tests, and vaccinations completed prior to departure. Improper required travel documentation is not covered by any travel insurance or trip protection plans.
Destination entry requirements vary widely and change frequently, at least 5 business days prior to departure, it is recommended that all travelers:
- Check their destination’s official governmental health ministry website for the latest entry, testing, and in-destination self-isolation requirements and complete all pre-travel items and preparation; e.g. https://uk.usembassy.gov/covid-19-coronavirus-information/.
- Recognize that on-site service adjustments may include, but are not limited to, food services (room service, buffets), check-in & check-out time, daily linen change, turndown service, on-site amenities (pool, spa, gym), etc.
Empire Travel wants travelers to have a safe and enjoyable vacation, so we recommend that you fully educate yourself on the destination and hotel specific changes that have been made in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and plan accordingly before you depart on your vacation.
Denied boarding or denied entry into your destination due to inadequate travel documentation including required test results, immunizations, travel insurance, and health forms are NOT the responsibility of Empire Travel Inc. or any travel insurance/ trip protection plan.
Empire Travel Inc. is not responsible for any payments made to trip providers/travel insurance companies/third parties. Once the trip providers/travel insurance companies/third parties have the travelers’ monies, Empire Travel Inc. is no longer responsible for said monies and the travelers must understand and follow the policies of the respective trip providers/travel insurance companies/third parties.
The responsibility to issue a refund does not fall on Empire Travel Inc; it is the responsibility of the trip provider/travel insurance company if the terms for a refund are met. If the trip provider/travel insurance company determines that a traveler does not meet the criteria to receive a refund, Empire Travel Inc. is not responsible for providing the traveler with any sort of refund/money/credit.
The travel agency (Empire Travel Inc.) is acting solely as an agent for suppliers. The travel agency does not control cancelations fees due to COVID-19 or any other unforeseen circumstances. The travel agency bears no responsibility for issuance of vouchers in lieu of cash. Traveler agrees not to initiate any chargeback with traveler’s credit card company. Force majeure could apply to modifications to contracts.
